Hello,
What are some of your favorite Family Christian movies? We have seen the Love Comes Softly series, The Sugar Creek Gang, Courageous, Facing the Giants, Flywheel, Letters to God, Veggie Tales, Left Behind...that's what I can think of. We have movie nights on weekends and I need some ideas. Tired of the same old secular shows. Thanks.

The entire Turner Home Entertainment bible collection is a wonderfully modern and entertaining way of watching bible stories- geared for adults and teens, not children.

Lifeway.com has a ton of Christian movies listed for order. Maybe you can get ideas from there.
This isn't a Christian movie but may I recommend the Hannah Montana movie? It came out a few years ago and yes, it stars Miley Cyrus. I am very anti-Disney when it comes to values but this movie was full of good values and life lessons - loyalty, trustworthiness, friendship and being true to yourself. As a Christian, we want our kids to be true to who they are in God, right? No swearing, cussing, talking back - almost a completely different character from the show. I wouldn't call the outfits questionable but some aren't as modest as perhaps Little House on the Prairie.
Seven Days in Utopia, Snowmen, and The Greening of Whitney Brown. Also, it is not a Christian movie, per se, but it did get a decent review on the Christian movie site: Mars Needs Moms.

Have you looked at the resources found at Vision Forum (visionforum.com)? They host the San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival every year. This year, Courageous won the big prize ($101,000). They sell all of the movies from all the years they have had the festival, which I think is 7 now. Every year, the movies get better and better. Some great ones that I would recommend:
The Runner From Ravenshead -(excellent family movie. It won the audience choice award last year-we love this movie. It is so cute.)
Seven Days in Utopia (http://www.sevendaysinutopia.com/video)
Seasons of Grey (modern day Joseph story, might be too much for littles, but if they have seen Courageous, then probably not-my children have seen Seasons, but not Courageous) - (http://www.seasonsofgray.com/trailer/)
Dad the Hero on Vacation (very goofy, not a fav of mine, but the kids seem to like it)
October Baby - in theaters now--excellent movie!!
The Secret of Jonathan Sperry- my kids love steaming this on Netflix
Some documentaris that I highly recommend: IndoctriNation, Agenda, Monstrous Regiment of Women (the title is from a thesis written by John Knox-it does not put women down at all! LOL But it does discuss feminism and the effects it has had on women), Mysterious Islands (you might enjoy watching this several part series with your family-it discusses evolution while at the Galapagos Islands, where Darwin came to his conclustions. This movie refutes what Darwin teaches.).
I'm sure there are more, but those are on the top of my head! Enjoy!
Hi, the first thing to come to mind is Feature Films For Families. I use to rely on this source a lot when my kids were younger. No one ever had a problem with the movies seen at our home, including me. When my kids were little they loves Scamper the Penguin and Seventh Brother. There are selections for older kids as well.
Have a fun movie night!
I don't know if this will help but here is a link to look at.

It's hard to find a really Christian movie except what you've listed. There are a few so keep looking I guess. Treasures of the Snow is one you may like. The book was so much better though. I'm not a fan of BJU although I did use some of their home school material some years back, but they have a good film dept. and do make movies at times. Here is their link.
