I have two small dogs that need to get shaved for the summer. I have been going to one specific place for years, but would possibly want to try someplace new (place I'm using keeps upping the rates, and I am only getting the dogs shaved - not anything fancy). Does anybody have any suggestions of good groomers in the Ferndale area? Thanks!
I use Kim's Grooming on Gratiot near 10 Mile Road. She's wonderful and very reasonable.
The 2 I use are Doggie Parlor & Eastpointe Animal Ctr both are in Eastpointe not too far from Fernale (8mi & Kelly). Pretty good and reasonable...usually $24-30 depending on if I get nails clipped, ears trimmed etc. I have a 13lb cockapoo.

My sister uses Catherine's Pet Parlor on Woodward in Royal Oak. She loves them and they do a great job with her long haired dog though she has never had him shaved, just groomed.
We use Aussie PetMobile. They come to the house. Our dog is 17 years old. They are always on time (or call when they will be late. They are wonderful with our dog, he is not traumatized and I can actually look in the van and see what's going on.
