I'm fairly new to the Frisco, actually Texas in general, area and am looking for a good hair stylist. I have curly hair, which I know is more difficult to cut properly, but also need someone who is good with color. I have wreaked my hair in the past coloring it myself, so I've resigned myself to the fact that I'm going to have to shell out the money to have it done properly. Any suggestions?
After much debate, I ended up making an appointment with Tray'C Urvina at Salon Boutiques here in Frisco, as recommended by Erin J. She was friendly, professional, easy to talk with, and really seemed like she knew her stuff. She's not cheap, for cut and color (foil), I ended up spending $170, but I'm a firm believer of "you get what you pay for". I think my hair looks great and I would go back to her. The proof: I have a "high maintenence" friend who asked me who did my hair, so I'm passing along her info.

One of my coworkers tried to highlight her own hair. It turned out very bad and he was able to fix it.

Toni and Guy at the Dallas Galleria ###-###-####. Monica for a cut and use Tiffany for color. They all specialize in something different. My sister and her friend have been going there for a few years and love them. Best color job ever and my sister has been getting her hair colored for many years. I got my haircut by Monica a few weeks ago and love it. I would bring a picture of the cut you want. That has always helped me get the cut I really want. I have very thick hair which has turned curly since having 2 babies. I live in Flower Mound and it was worth the drive. Good luck! I'm very picky who cuts my hair.
