Every year some of the women in my family take a girl's trip to a beach house. This year I would like to buy everyone a good "beach read". Something fun and not too sappy or dramatic. Any suggestions?

Anything by Jennifer Weiner will be a great beach read. Not sappy at all and even sort of funny.
Any of the Janet Evanovitch- many are laugh-out-loud!
LOVED "Summer Sisters" by Judy Blume and "The Days of Summer" by Jill Barnett was also pretty good.
