If you ask at the info desk at New Season's they'll help you out
too. They know lots of the gotchas. If you cook simple foods with minimal processed things you'll be all right. There are lots of hidden sources so you have to careful of any processed foods. Rice, corn (including corn tortillas), meats (but not processed, other than bacon and ham are usually ok), vegies, cheese (except blue), tofu. Even if you get gluten free bread for toast, you have to not make it in your toaster or you can cross contaminate it. Some people are that sensitive, others aren't. For best results you probably want to go pretty much entirely gluten free while they're at your house. But that's not too terrible, tacos, rice stir fry, roast meat and baked potatoes.
Also, Bob's Red Mill (which is down off hwy 224) has an extensive selection of gluten free baking mixes.
Also, for gluten free restaurants: the Hawthorne Fish house has fabulous gluten free fish and chips. (They batter with rice flour.) They even have gluten free beer, which I tasted recently and it's thoroughly weird, but might appeal to some.
