I received a call about my resume and have an interview set up with this company. They are located in 'the' business park near us, where there are major, legit companies. However, there seems to be a lot of stuff on the internet about job scams and pyramid scams from a company by this name... only ONE of those being the actual company that called me (so it seems). They are located all across the US, has anyone else heard of them?

I worked for Global Business Strategies for 6 months. The reason why I left is that I have a family with special needs. I would have stayed because the opportunity is solid. These are people with tremendous work ethic. The people that do not succeed there usually aren't very goal oriented individuals.
it is a scam stay away they are a multi level marketing company ( pyramid)
No-and the thing is-if you google any major corporation-you can't find any mention of the word "scam".
Been there...done that...bought the t-shirt. It is a scam...and I would just cancel the interview and move on...unless you have nothing better to do...then you can go just for the interview practice (which never hurts).
Why not check with the Better Business Bureau? Good luck.
