Petit bateau (sp) I think it's sold at bloomingdales but lots of other stores sell it. Also try Hannah Anderson.
My daughters are in a wedding come soon. They are 18 months and 4 years old. Have dresses, but they are almost seethrough with the layered chiffon and i wanted them to wear camis underneath (just in case). I cannot find a "dressy" cami anywhere. when i search online, i only get women's results, no kids. Anyone have any suggestions on where to find a toddler and/or girls size dressy (satin, silk) cami?
(I've tried most department stores).
1 more note... the dresses are ivory, so I'd like the cami to be ivory also, so it blends into the dress and there is no outline.

Do you know anyone that sews? If you do just get a pattern for a regular tanktop/cami and but the material you like....that way you get exactly what you want!
My only other suggestion would be a "ballet" bodice in ivory to wear under the dress.

how about Hartstrings? They have fancy, fancy dresses. Gymboree maybe? maybe Dillards or Macey's. You may not need a silk or satin one, maybe a cotton one would look ok underneath. You may also talk to a seamstress and maybe buy the fabric and have a thin layer sewn into the front of the dress, you wouldn't need it in the back.
not sure about it being silky, but I know you can plain ole cotton ones at Babies R Us
Post in the alchemy section on Etsy and I'm sure you'll have TONS of responses before you know it. etsy.com is the ultimate in home made items and the alchemy section allows for you to post what you need, your price range, ideal date to have it buy and allows for makers to bid and submit ideas. It's amazing - give it a look-see! Wishing you the best in your search.
I got cute ivory camis at Childrens Place. They are cotton but they have a lace trim around the neckline and hem. Good luck. Target online carries camis too but I dont know about dressy ones.
Can a dressmaker make some for you?
Or, use a toddler tank top. Solid color. Ivory or white. Even if it is cotton. And then you can perhaps sew on some lace, if you want it dressed up looking.
But, babies/toddlers, often don't like frilly/pokey things next to their skin.
Let the Bride know. So that she can either agree or not, with it. What if she doesn't like the look of the cami????
OR, get a petite small sized women's Cami. And perhaps, you can majorly, take it in and alter it????
OR, check out dance supply stores. Ballet types. They often have undergarments, to wear under the dance suits/tutus.
Usually, a body suit type, like a one piece bathing suit, Lycra, and skin colored or what not.
There is a store called Downeast outfitters. (they are online too) and they have a kid section with little cami's in pretty much every color. They only carry girl sizes. Like the smallest is a size 2. But there are pretty tight fitting. I had to buy a size 4 for my 2 year old so I bet the size 2 would fit your 18 month old. And my 4 year old daughter can wear the 4 but the 6 fits her a little better length wise.
Go to a davids bridal they will have what you need. but I am still stuck on the "just in case" just in case "what" they are 18mo and 4 years. if the dresses are made for their age / size they will fit.
Try JcPenny online or catalog. You probably wont find a cami but perhaps a slip, those are usually silky, if you cant find anything find a tailor/seamstress that can make you one or add a lining.
