Some of the Celebrity bakeries do birthday parties. The kids get to decorate cookies and cakes, depending on the party package. Not exclusively for girls, but you could make it really girly if you wanted. Have Fun!
Does anyone have any venue suggestions for a girlie 5 year old's birthday party? We will have between 5 and 10 girls. We went to Sweet and Sassy last year, so I was looking for something different. Thanks!
Thanks for all the input. My friend (who has a business renting out decorations for weddings/etc.) offered to help me throw the party. I'm embarrassed I didn't think to ask her. She is going transform my house into a beautiful "tea room." Lots of pretty china, flowers, ribbons and tulle. Should be perfect! I've been to her house for a tea party - it was amazing!
Thanks again for all the great ideas!

American Girl in the Galleria is VERY girly and they host birthdays. I've only been there for a couple of girly brunches though (no parties - yet).

Celebration does cookie decorating parties/tea parties.
Hello, have you tried out this new birthday party company called The Royal Party Room?
They bring beautiful parties to whatever location you choose.
They also have different themes. The reviews are great too on parents connect.
The website is www.theroyalpartyroom.com
It is a little pricey...but so is Sweet and Sassy...check out Into The Garden Tea Room. It's in downtown Plano. We had my daughters 5 yr old party there 3 years ago and it was great! All the girls dressed up like princesses and they serve little sandwiches and 'pink lady punch' in real china. They also provide a yummy cake. It was a really sweet party and all the girls had fun. Google them...they have a website. :) Have fun!
My 5 year old daughter attended a Princess camp last summer at Sugar & Spice in McKinney. We live in Dallas and have not attended a birthday party there, but if their birthday parties are like their camps, the girls will love it.

My daughter is not really a 'girly girl', but she loved the Princess camp and continues to talk about it many months later.
I'm doing a cute cafe in mckinney and having a gourmet pancake bar. Pajamas and pancakes...kids wear pjs. The favor is a tshirt that says I partied in my pjs.
Into My Garden tea room in Plano does an awesome job of fancy birthday parties. The girls wear tiaras and necklaces, and they have heart-shaped miniature muffins, flower-shaped sandwiches, and pink lemonade "tea" in the most adorable tea pots. When we had our party they also put us in contact with a group that did Disney Princess appearances at the parties, so Ariel and the Little Mermaid were able to join us for games and fun. The kids and adults all had a great time. They have a web site that will tell you everything.
Hi S., What about a tea party for girls only. I think there is a tea shop in Mckinney and Allen that does tea parties. Good luck.
Have you heard of Simply Pretend, theme party trunk rentals? You can choose the theme you want and have it delivered to your house. Check out the website at: www.simplypretend.com
I've heard really good things and the owner is super nice and helpful.
Good luck!
