Gifts for Classmates?

So my daughter goes to a small private school and there are 6 kids in the class (including her). Should we pick up a little something for her classmates? I was thinking a small bag of goodies for each kid or puzzles or something. We did get a nice photo/card holder for the teacher and we will be adding money to the offering plate at the school play (this gets pooled for the teacher’s bonuses).
So what do you think? Should my daughter just make cards for her class or add a little something with them?

So What Happened?

JC, the kids deal with all the teachers throughout the day. My daughter does spend most of the day with just one, but she has others classes with other teachers. The pooling is to insure that all the teachers get something, it does not include the admin staff.
I will most likely have my daughter pick out some small stuff, like stocking stuffers. Some for the girls and some for the boys. I am sure they will all enjoy it.

What a cute idea! If I had a class that small I probably would get them all a little something, including the teacher. Bake cookies or make peppermint bark with your daughter, put it in little festive bags and throw in some stickers or something fun. It all depends on how much time and money you have! The possibilities are endless! Merry Christmas!

Maybe a candy cane or pencils if you want to give a little something. JMO but I think it is better to give the teacher a cash gift yourself. Why do you need someone to pool the money for you to then give it to the teacher as a bonus? If you give it yourself you are assured she gets the money intended for her.

6 kids? That's it? I definitely would. I've made some sort of goodie bag for my kid's classmates each year in preschool and am planning on doing so this year, w/18 classmates.

I always try to put something unique in it, so I won't feel like I'm wasting my money. Last year in prek, I fill bags up w/candy, and added lipgloss and cute little mirrors for the girls, and these little mini electronic games on a key chain for the boys. I let my kid pick them out so we could say it really was from him.
