My best friend is pregnant and due very soon. She is wanting to have a gift ready for the new baby from big brother and also one for big brother from the new baby. She would like the gifts to be something they will enjoy now but also keep forever. Any ideas? We are both at a loss! Thanks so much!

Build a Bear is fun and he picks out what he wants to put inside for the new baby. Also a shirt that says "I'm the Big Brother" is cute.
T-shirts!! "Big Brother" and "I am with my Big Brother" or "I love my Big Brother"...kids were tees for such a short time and you can control when/where...then frame them....I still have my two, 14 mos apart, kids tees and they are 17 and 18 now....enjoy!
I love the pull string crib toys that hang from the crib rail and play lullabys, thats what i usually get new babys of mine:) this time i am trying to get tshirts made with biggest, bigger, and finally a Big Brother on them :) but little toys or stuffed animals are all the easiest things.... i think they have a lot at babies r us

Not sure how old big brother is but how about nice wooden toy instruments for baby and brother? My son and daughter are a little over 2.5 yrs apart and playing instruments is something they've been able to do together for a while now and they love it.
The book I'm a Big Brother--- and a nice lovie for the baby from the big brother. Worked really well for us. They love their gifts!

what about a picture book/scrap book from the Big Brother that has a pic of him and other family members, almost like an introduction to the family, and from the baby to the big Bro. a picture book that they can fill together as they grow. and of course Big Brother little brother t shirts don't hurt either!
