B.K.
I'm giving my boyfriend a nice t shirt with our son's best picture on it. As a matter of fact they or both in the picture. I did it last year, he loves it and wears it every chance he gets.
I need gift ideas for my fiance for fathers day. I have no idea what to get him, I've already gotten him a card but would like to give him something else as well. He's a mechanic and He's already got all the tools he'll need. I figured I would ask you ladies! :)
What are some good gift ideas? Can be craft ideas or whatever.
Thanks for the suggestions ladies!
I found a pack of mugs with paint and everything that my 15 month old daughter can help paint. It'll be messing but she'll love it and I'm pretty sure he will too. :) I'm also going to make him his favorite breakfast so he can have it in bed, then he'll have to day to do whatever he wants.

How about a game of paint ball for him and his friends (or kids if the kids are old enough). Or a massage, men secretly like to be pampered too, my husband loves to get a massage. He does home repairs and is very manly. There is the King for a day that we do around here. King or queen for the day means that others do your chores, you get to do what ever you want to do. It is breakfast in bed, dinner of choice...lunch of choice...you get whatever you want done for the day. This started when we didn't have any money for a gift on Mother's day because my birthday and my daughters were just days before Mother's day...I got creative and now...Queen for the day is still the present of choice on Mother's day...King for the day is the present of choice on Father's day.
We do $5 gifts for mother's/father's day. This year, I bought a book titled "Where's Daddy" at TJ Maxx - it has you looking for Daddy under the sink and various places in the house, then you finally find him at the end looking in the mirror (you insert your own picture for the mirror).
Last year,I did a coffee mug with pictures on them. I got it on walgreens.com. I load my pictures up there and every so often they send me specials and coupon codes. You could also do a collage with pictures too. I ordered one and it was around $4.00. Check it out it is pretty cool. Of course you have to upload pictures to the computer and create your own account.
You might want to get something personalized with pictures of your kids. (mousepads... keychains... etc...) Even a personalized photo book. I've used CVS, Walgreens, vistaprint, shutterfly, snapfish. They are all pretty good. (some faster than others)
Good luck! :)
Go to www. rcsdesigns.net n order him a custom license plate.
here are some ideas
1. Flying lessons-arround 60 dollars and guys love them
2. paintball
3. guys night out cards
4. make sure your child makes something, you can do build a bear and have them say something into the bear
5. Date night for you two, doing something you would have done before kids, concerts, bar and dancing....
If you're thinking of craft ideas, we just finished doing stepping stones with the kids' footprints in them. The kits are available at craft stores like Michael's or AC Moore. They take several days to cure, so you would either have to do it in the next couple of days or just give him the kit (my preference) so you can make the stones as a family. You could also make shirts with hand/foot prints on them using fabric paints...
Personalized key chain with a short message...

I've purchase four necklaces from her and she also does keychains for dad...
have fun :)
Do something for him that he has been meaning to do, but never gets around to. Ex. We have a flag pole in front of our house. My husband wanted to paint it from the day we moved in (six years ago). He's never had time to do it. This year I got a babysitter & painted the flag pole. Now he will be able to hang his grandfather's flag.
I'm not suggesting you paint a flag pole, but i'm sure that there is something your man has wanted to do & never has.
Good luck.
(Or get a babysitter & have a night in with some sexy lingerea. That goes over well, no matter the occasion.)
a book of boudoir photos of you. I'm a photographer and I do these a lot (make sure an experienced female photog takes the pics or there could be trouble/ disappointment) and men LOVE them.
This year, though, in order to save money I've mowed the lawn (it's large and quite a job) and cleaned the garage. I know he'll appreciate those two things more than any gift I could possibly give him and he will know that I did it entirely out of love for him because I NEVER do those things, lol. He's out of town so it will be a surprise.
You can also make some sort of list of all the ways he is a great dad. That serves two purposes: It celebrates him and it encourages the things he does well.
I'm personally not for buying things unless I know he really reallly wants something. I'm more of the celebrating him in very personal ways type. I think it is good for our marriage to do this, too.
Not sure how old your child/children are, but when our boys were 2 and 4 I took them to a paint your own pottery place and one of them painted a coffee mug for him and the other a cereal bowl. It's 4 years later and he still uses both all the time and refers to them has his "special bowl" and "special mug." I took pictures of the boys while they were painting, framed them and added that to his gift - we've moved since then and these pictures still have a prominent place in his new office.
I'm not sure how old your kiddos are, but my son is 19 months. I've printed tons of pictures of the two of them together, and will hang with string throughout all the doorways. I'm going to glue them to larger sheets of paper and write captions on them.
I'm sure anything from your heart will be appreciated.
(:
Got my hubby a computer game from me and new hair clippers from the kids....of course he asked for both things so I know he wants/needs them.
