I'm a teacher and I completely agree with Angela. A gift card is great. Of coures all gifts are appreciated. But most teachers tend to spend a lot of money on their classroom, especially around Christmas. So gift cards are a huge help.
I need some help on what to get my little girls teacher's for Christmas? She has 3 teachers and I don't want to get them anything that says worlds greatest teacher etc.on it as I am sure they have a ton of that stuff already. Does anyone have any good ideas on what to get??
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thank you,
R.

I usually do an inexpensive basket. I find a cute mug at the $1.00 store (yard sales work too!)And put some hot chocolate, regular choc. or bath items with it. (candles soaps, etc...) You can also hit the thrift store and get a really pretty porcelain tea cup for almost nothing and buy some nice tea to give with it. It's something they can actually use. I find that they tend to shy away from home made goodies. They're subjected to enough "kid germs" everyday at school! LOL
I did the tea cup one for Valentine's day one year, with homemade fudge. It was a big hit. People get rid of china all the time and you can find some really nice pieces at a thrift shop. Especially if you only need 1 cup and saucer. Just check it really well for chips or cracks before you buy. Noone will know it wasn't your grandmas china!
Good Luck!
gift cards to target, the mall, walmart, nail salon, etc. are always nice. also, things that they can use to take care of themselves, like candles, soaps, etc. :)
Hi R., as a teacher I can assure you that a Walmart gift card would be appreciated more than anything. A.
I've always thought calendars make a great gift for teachers. Who doesn't need a calendar this time of year? And it's a reasonably priced gift.
