Gift for Toddler Teachers

My youngest is transitioning from a Toddler room into a Preschool room beginning this week. She is in a Montessori school and has been with this group of teachers since she was 18 months (she will be 3 in Oct.). I feel like the teachers have put in a lot of work with her (she hardly talked and was wearing diapers when she first started!!) and helped to get her ready for this move. I would like to pass along some form of THANK YOU to the 3 teachers that have put in so much hard work, but I don't know what to get them that is not over the top expensive. Any ideas? I thought about Flowers or a plant, but I feel like with delivery I am looking at $60 for something that may die sooner rather than later. I also found a 3 tier gift from Hershey's that has candy…so one for each teacher I guess and that is under $20. Do you have any better ideas to offer? I'd like to do more than just a card, but don't want to spend too much.

What can I do next?

How well do you know the teachers? Do you know if they like chopcolate and or plants? A gift card to Starbucks or similar if they like coffee, I like that idea because they wont use it all at once and will appreciate it each time. Pesonalized stationary is nice....

When we left our first preschool, we wrote a nice card and provided lunch for the staff.
When our kids finished preschool, I wrote each teacher a note and gave them a photo of my kids.
Hope that helps!

My daughter is transitioning, too. I think the giftcard route is best. We will also do a nice card to thank them for teaching and caring for her at the times that I am unable to do so because of work.

Late reply, sorry.... You could do a little theme to the gift card idea, like a box of movie theater popcorn, one individual (wrapped in cellophane) bag of microwave popcorn and a $5 gift certificate to Blockbuster or local video rental store. Or a Starbucks gift card and a travel mug. That way, it looks a little more personalized than just a gift card, but still keeps your cost under $10.
