Never heard of it but I looked it up. I would appear they pay you to harass and alienate your friends with the off chance someone will buy something.

Also no where in there did I see anything about being paid for advice. It looks like you market to anyone who has the bad luck of being in proximity to one of their minions.

I hadn't heard of it but I went to the website and found a few things.

On the plus side, one of the founders was interviewed by ABC News so presumably some research was done. Here's that interview: http://abcnews.go.com/Video/playerIndex?id=4614331&af...

There's nothing wrong with direct sales - it's the oldest form of marketing/sales and existed long before big corporations took over. There's been a resurgence of direct sales companies since corporate CEOs expanded their salaries and stock options while not raising workers' salaries/wages. Suze Orman, Robert Kiyosaki and many other experts have endorsed direct sales. Thing Avon, Mary Kay, Reliv, Silpada, many others which are in the Direct Selling Association.

Remember that "work from home" is WORK. Miles of Marketing will expect you to represent their clients by talking about products, having signs on your car, and sharing your knowledge and free samples in play groups, at soccer practice, and other activities. You will be paid on commission - the same as real estate agents and car salespeople and many other professions. You will make money based on how hard you work, which means that you have to be knowledgeable and not annoying to everyone you come across. People will wonder if you would endorse a product if you weren't being paid for it. You will have to figure out how to sell products you don't actually like or believe in, or you will not get commissions for that. That's okay but you have to think about it ahead of time. You still have to be organized, professional, and motivated.

You need to research them/their business and their reviews.
Do deep online research.
And if they even have the "Clients" they say they do.
I have never heard of them.

If you need marketing advice, your best bet is to go to a local marketing/PR/advertising firm. Or ask everyone in your network if they know someone in the field who's willing to freelance for you.

I'd steer clear of online only operations. You don't know who you're dealing with.

I didn't check the website but that sounds fishy to me. My radar went sky high hen reading your post.

Are you searching for marketing advice or planning to give advice?

I'd run from this and research something local and proven legit.
