I heard from a friend WD-40 works wonders on gum and shirts! I have not tried it, but I had a friend who just last week said it saved her favorite shirt! Good luck!
My child has "stored" gum in a t-shirt pocket. I have no idea on how to go about getting all of the gum out of the fabric. Anyone know of any solutions?

Goo gone! It really works also the old standby lighter fluid.
Yep. Like she said...freezer, then, once hardened, just pick out/off. Best wishes!
peanutbutter! I've done this a hundred times. peanutbutter will disolve it and make it kinda chunky where you can scrape it off with a butter knife, then wash and it will be fine. It won't work if you have already washed it.
Peanutbutter for clothes and butter for hair.
Turn the t-shirt inside-out so the gum is exposed; cover in either mayonnaise or peanut butter and let it set; the oils will make removing so much easier. Also, if you haven't gotten any gum out, put the shirt in the freezer so the gum hardens then it should pop right out.
A., Cigarette lighter fluid works best than you may have to put dish soap on the spot if it leaves a bit of a greasy spot but it usually doesn't. Works great in carpet, hair or anything. Get's crayon off furiture as well as marker. Wonderful for getting black spots off carpet & tile. Best of all it's cheap, lol. Good luck.
Put the shirt in the freezer. Let the gum freeze and then try to take it out.
Put the whole shirt in the freezer for a couple of hours.
Use Goo Gone! My daughter got it all over her jacket, and I noticed it after her aunt washed it. So I put goo gone on it, rubbed it in and washed it seperately. The gum come right out, even where it was in the little grooves of the fabric! Good luck!
