If Dawn doesn't work I have a biodegradable cleaner that might do the trick. A degreaser or a laundry soak to try.
Would like input about getting oily stains out of fabrics. Daughter spilt a whole bottle of biosilk in the bottom of her canvas tote, would like to get it out!
i used dish soap, but it didnt work, is Dawn different in any way from other dish soaps? thank you!

I have a bottle of Dawn Dish Soap in my laundry room for just such occasion. good luck
I've used Dawn dish soap for a lot of things, and it has worked well, I used it to get butter stains out of clothes, as well as olive oil before but not the whole bottle.
but if not Vinegar may help. Good luck.
Oh teenagers!!! I've found the best way to get ride of stains like that but not Biosilk namely, is to use something like Dawn dishwash or a wash with degreaser.
Good luck, I have a 14 yr old and I am always getting stains out of her clothing. At least you know what it was...and Biosilk is not cheap :(
Good luck
I haven't used it on any stain that was bigger than a dot, but I've used dish detergent (known for getting greasey food off dishes) - just a small dot...if it's a big stain, you may want to mix a few dots with some water and then soak the bag in that.
I agree with the Dawn suggestion. Good luck. I just spilled a whole bottle in the drawer in my bathroom and it was a nightmare getting it off of all of the other little bottles of things that were in the drawer.

You can also try 1/2 cup or so if Pinesol. My brother is a mechanic and he uses it to get grease/oil stains out of his clothes. I'd soak it for a few minutes with the pinesol in the water and then run it through the wash.
