I have the same problem with stretch marks but I realized that they're pretty much permanent. The one thing that really helped me was Maderma. I usually get the target brand because it's cheaper and it works just as good. I started using it 3times a day, after I shower, mid day, and before I go to sleep and noticed that my stretchmarks got lighter. Tanning is a good option too :) I hope my advice helps! Good luck!

Whether you get stretch marks or not depends greatly on the skin you inherited. Some people never get them, some get dark ones and some go back to normal. How did your mom and women on your father's side do?

Either way, I had dark purple stretch marks on by breasts and red ones on my hips. My tummy never got any, how I do not know. What I did was I used plain organic coconut oil after each breastfeeding and after showering. The ones on my thighs have disappeared, although when I'm tan they are a tiny bit lighter, but you have to look hard. The ones on my breasts have also changed back to my skin tone, so they are also not noticeable. My baby is 1 now and it took about this long to get rid of them. I have also lost all of the baby weight which I think helped a great deal. Give it a shot. :) You can't go wrong with putting on creams.

While I was pregnant, I used a cream from Pea in the Pod. I cannot remember the name but they have a few higher priced creams. After I used 2 bottles and figured it was getting too expensive, I started using Palmers stretch mark cream for the rest of the pregnancy!
I was lucky and did not get any stretch marks!
With all of that said, my doctor said that it was probably not the cream, and that it was my genetics so I was lucky! I know if strech marks are really bad, you can have laser treatments done! At least using the creams made me feel better! Good luck!

During pregnancy I used almond oil, and it worked great. I would buy it at Henry's for about $10 a bottle, and it lasts a while.

I've heard that many people including models use preparation H. Never tried it, mine weren't that bad. Sounds inexpensive enough to give it a try!

Hi R.!

I represent an amazing product - Pentaxyl. If you've heard of StriVectin, it is similar only much better and at almost half the cost. Not only does it get results, it has a minty smell and feels a bit invigorating. You can order through this link.

I used Tummy Honey products. You can find them at select Babies-R-Us stores. It has some of the same active indredients as Strivetin (sp?)but does not have the ones I heard were bad if breastfeeding. My OBGYN looked over the ingredients and felt it was okay to use. The Tummy Honey products really helped. Know also, that you never can get rid of stretch marks, you only minimize their appearance. Now, you can barely see my stretch marks. I think I can only tell where they were because I knew exactly where they were.
