Has anyone tried that Genie Bra? I have large breasts and can not find a bra that I love. I was wondering if anyone has tried it and what you think of it. Does it really hold you up? Would I be better off spending my money on a real bra? It looks comfortable and I wear a sports bra around the house anyway but even that is uncomfortable.

Thanks :)

I am a perky 32DD and I LOVE Wacoal bras. They do run about $60+ each but they are great, comfy, supportive, not ugly, and long lasting.

I don't like any padding, just the simple liner, something on the sexier side and not like a Grandma bra. Love these!

I get mine at Neiman Marcus or Nordstrom but they are sold at Dillards and Macy's. Great quality braa.

I THINK they sell them at Wal Mart. You could try it on and decide.

Everything I've read online said it was just a super tight sports bra that is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to put on and get out of.

M.,

I have had trouble for years finding the right bra to fit my odd-sized bust. Just last week I went to Kohl's determined to find a bra that finally fit. After an hour and a half search I was frustrated and almost in tears because nothing fit.

I finally asked one of the lingerie staff and she recommended a specialty shop that carries a huge selection of bras and even does bra fittings.

That afternoon we went and the owner of the store had the right bra on my body in less than 5 minutes. I have worn that bra over the last week and absolutely love it! It doesn't hurt or pinch, my breasts don't ache at the end of the day, and it stays in place - just as it should.

Here's my recommendation - call your gynecologists office and ask if they recommend any specialty bra shops for women with odd sized busts or for women who have had a mastectomy. These shops will most likely also carry bras for average women and will be able to help you find what will fit your body.

I couldn't believe it when she put a 38-G on me and it fit perfectly. No wonder I couldn't find what I needed at Kohl's.

Even better, the bra I purchased was the same price as the bras I was trying on at Kohl's. She also helped me find a really good sports bra. I'm going back next week to pick up a few more dressy bras so I have a selection each morning.

Good luck with your search.

I was actually wondering the same thing, and posted on here about it some time ago, but didn't get any responses. From the googling I did, I found some angry customers who didn't receive their product, tried to cancel their order, and had a hell of a time trying to get their money refunded. Sounds like a lot of trouble and they didn't even get to try the bra. I'd be willing to try it out if I could buy it at a store, but I wouldn't bother trying to go through the infomercial. I don't know though, I'm just not convinced that something that looks so flimsy can really hold, separate, and support large breasts. I'm a 40/42 DDD, so I need heavy duty support for the girls!!

M.,
I ordered them, saw all the bad reviews and cancelled my order. :(

I think it looks too good to be true. I am a 38DDD and I just really doubt anything like that could be truly supportive.

I just saw them in a store ad. I think it was CVS, but if you don't have one near you, you could try Bed Bath and Beyond. They always have "as seen on TV". If you're patient, I'm sure more stores will be carrying them soon as well!
