First, welcome to the area! :)

For Pediatrician, we use Pediatric Partners (www.doc4kidz) and they're located at I-435 and Quivira. All the docs and NPs there are great, we see Dr. Mellick.

For Family Practice, I use Shawnee Mission Primary Care (shawneemission.org/primarycare) and they're located at I-35 and 75th St. Again, lots of great docs and NPs, good mix of men and women, and they treat a broad age range. I only mention the age thing because when i first moved here i picked a female doctor near my house and even though her bio said she treated all age ranges, she almost exclusively treated geriatrics.

For a pediatricain I recommend Cradle through College Care, at St. Joseph Medical Center. Dr. Richard Charrete is terrific with children. TRhe office has flexible "sick" hours. C3 is located in Missouri just over State Line Road off of Interstate 435. Telephone ###-###-####

My family loves Pure Health at 135th and Quivira with Dr. Burns there are 2 Drs male and 2 female Nurse practioners open 7 days a week with evening hours phone ####-###-#### Good Luck

My family has used Child Care Limited for about 16 years, it's located at the St Joseph Medical Center. All the doctors there are fantastic! They have walk in hours 8-11:30 and 1-4:30 weekdays, 4:30-7:30 and Saturdays 8-11:30. You can check them out at http://www.childcarelimited.com/web312//default.asp. My son just turned 18, so I asked how long he'd be able to go there, they said until he turned 21. Dr. Cirotski has been our doctor, he still asks about my adult daughters, has met the grandkid's, tells me about his son (who is about my son's age). I love it, they discuss everything at length and I always leave secure that I know all that I need to know about what's going on with my child.
My daughter takes her kids next door (insurance) there is only one doctor there and he doesn't take the time he needs if you see him, usually you see a nurse practitioner. Want her to change doctors.

College Park Family Care Center is on 112th and college. They have a lot of great doctors, nurse practitioners, Physician assistants, xray, lab, and other specialized dr's as well. They have pediatricians as well. Also has acute care. They have many doctors to choose from and have same day appointments available--although you may not get your preferred doctor on a same day appointment but our family has seen many of the dr's on same day appointments and liked them all but 1 so far.
We know a lot of people that also go there and like it as well.
