I work at a local YMCA and in February we are having a Mardi Gras Family Fun Night for the members at our YMCA. We usually get about 80 people and the kids range in age from 2-13. I am desperate for ideas on inexpensive games to play. We do not a lot of room to do much in, and we do not have a big budget. We are doing a mask craft, but that is the only idea I have so far. I would love any input!

Maybe you could do something with beads or beaded necklaces. I'm not exactly sure what, but beads are a big part of Mardi Gras.
Is this at the YMCA off S Airport? My kids and I just moved here from Mobile and we are members there. My mom is sending a bunch og Mardi Gras stuff here fr my son to show his class and I Really don't know what to do with it all. We have tons of beads too. She also shipped us a King Cake last week. That would be something good to snack on. Contact me if you's like some help.
THis is my first posting. We just threw a pirate party for my 5yr olds b-day. I think a fun treasure hunt to find "mardi beads" could work for you.
Hi K.~
What about a pinata...
or scavenger hunt...
or have kids frost and decorate sugar cookies...
or play bingo for little prizes...
or balloon toss or relay type games (if room allows)
Have fun & good luck! :)
