That's a tough one. Ultrasound can miss stones. I had an ultrasound right before my emergency gall bladder removal that showed many stones, but when they got in there were more than triple the amount they expected. On the other hand, it may not be your gallbladder and you will have to pay a lot. What does your doctor want you to do? The pain and nausea sound a lot like gallbladder, and vomiting with a gall bladder issue means it's more advanced (if that's what the issue is) Can you get a second opinion? Something is causing your pain and nausea and you need to get to the root of the problem. Good luck, listen to your doc.
