J.K.
My husband saw it. He did not take our sons, 12 & 14.
Common Sense Media rates the "Extremely violent" movie as best for ages 17 and up. See the link for details.

Has anyone seen the Fury movie? Wondering if my 13 year old son would enjoy it. Action is always good but it depends on how much drama is added whether or not he'll like it.
Thanks!
M.
Thanks Ladies!! If it is double the violence of Saving Private Ryan I don't even want to see it, let alone have my 13 year old see it.

I would say that it's not an "action movie." It's a war movie. With all the bloody killing, death, gore, pain, suffering, cussing, and anger that entails. It's said to be very realistic in the level of violence and gore. I would not allow my 13 year old to watch it. My husband and I are pretty lenient, allowing our (almost) 12 and 13 year old boys to watch rated R and pg-13 films, but we read the reviews and check commonsensemedia.org first to ensure they're not too mature first.
This one is too mature for young teens.
Look at commonsensemedia.org for specifics.
My husband said it's double the violence of Private Ryan if that helps you make a decision. I have a 13 and 14 year old boys and they're not going.
