We all went out to dinner Tuesday night.... 8 of us, including my M. (age 87), hubby and I, daughter #2 (home from Seoul for the summer), son (age 20), and daughter #3 with her hubby and their son, age 4 1/2...
Well, their son, our grandson, was getting rather noisy... just noisy talking and playing, but we wanted him to be a bit quieter....
So, daughter #2, reached over, and "tweaked" his ear (turning it slightly), saying "I'm turning down your volume... you need to talk at a whisper now..." (none of us have ever tried this before... this was just an impulse on her part, trying to play with him a bit and tone down the volume)....
He quickly reached up, and tweaked his own ear, and said "I'm turning the volume back UP!"
We all got a good chuckle out of that!
