Hi S.! I am a consultant with Usborne Books and More. We are the largest publishing company for educational fictiion and nonfiction books. We have several GREAT fundraiser programs. One of the best is our Reach for the Stars Program. Similar to a walk-a-thon, the children collect pledges based on how much they read over a 3 week period typically 300 minutes. The pledges can based on minutes, hours, or lump sum. You then get 30% of the pledges back in cash, 20% in books for your school, and 50% of books to the students. Each child who participates is guaranteed at least one free book regardless of pledges received.
We also have a "Reading is a Gift" Book Fair optiion. Your organization can receive free books, books and cash or cash only. The amount of cash depends on the total sales of the bookfair.
Please check out my website www.myubam.com/d3738 for more information. You can also email me with any questions at ____@____.com. I look forward to hearing from you.
Check out Great Lakes Scrip Company. It is a great fundraising program.
Hi S.!
I'm a PartyLite consultant and we now have a 50% profit fundraiser! PartyLite candles are very high quality, they smell great, and they burn even better! People love candles and they make great gifts for the holidays. Our fundraiser is really easy and the products get sent directly to each seller. I live in Kansas, so I'd love to have the opportunity to talk with you about it. Check out my website: www.partylite.biz/maryheathman and you can find out more about our fundraising opportunity. If you have questions, please contact me through my website!
I hope to hear from you!

Our school did Sally Foster gift wrap and it was very successful. We also clip Box Tops for Education and Campbells Soup labels.
Good luck and thank you for taking the time to join the PTA. They never have enough help and it's awesome of you get involved.

My name is L. Pratt and I am a Senior Rising Star Designer with Celebrating Home. We have an awesome fundraising program where the kids make approximately 50% profit on what they sell. I would be glad to send you a fundraising packet so you can see what all we offer. In addition we offer prizes for the kids to help give them the incentive to sell! It is one of the easiest fundraising programs I have worked with and with 5 kids I have done my share!! You are welcome to go to the website and look at the fundraising there as well, my link is www.celebratinghome.com/sites/lindashgp. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

I sell Avon products, and you can do a fundraiser by either earning just a percentage from items sold from the current brochure or there are SPECIFIC items for a fundraiser (like selling just all shower gels, or lotions, or the Skin So Soft line of products, or jewelry, or a Teddy Bear that can be donated to a childen's hospital and you keep a portion of the proceeds), etc, let me know if you'd like to do one, and you can do more than one.

One of the easiest things you can do is sell candy bars. They sell themselves & if more than one kid hits up a person they'll usually buy anyways. I'll always buy candy bars from a kid when they come around. Pizza Street (if you have one in your area) offers a card that you sell for $10, but you only pay them $3 for (that's $7 profit!) & the purchaser receives 10 free buffets. There's also companies that put together a card with deals from businesses (restaurants, gas stations, etc) in your area & they usually are about the same profit as the Pizza Street, the downside is you can only sell to people in your area. The worst thing I think to sell is overpriceed wrapping paper (why do I want to pay $6/ roll, when I can get it at the dollar store?) & gift tags. Cookie dough is a good one, but it is pricey & you have to have a lot of freezer room & so do the sellers.

I just read about a great one in the paper last Sunday. It's a local company that sells 'green friendly' cleaning products. Who can't use those!? You can find out more info. at www.generationsgogreen.com.
Our school just did Mixed Bag Designs and it was a huge hit. They are eco friendly "green" bags with really cute designs. www.mixedbagdesigns.org
Hi S.,
Gold Canyon Candles offers a fundraising program, and they are wonderful candles. Please let me know if you are interested and I can get you more information.
Thanks,
S.
I noticed that someone already suggested it, but they are right Great Lakes Scrips are wonderful. You don't have to "sell" anything- your families just purchase gift cards to places that they already go to and then you receive a percentage back from that. Very easy to do. Let me know if you need help or have more questions.
Sarsh.I am so glad to read this...I am on disability for my back and have started doing fundraising with schools and churches .I have done 2 that were so easy for the kids to pick up alot of $ for Church camp .My company is SMC and I have gifts for the home and devotional gifts also .Please call me ###-###-####.I know I can help and u in turn will be helping me.Thanks!
I know that PartyLite Candles just started doing fundraisers too. The organization earns 50% of their sale and direct shipping to each seller (no time consuming sorting, storing or distribution). I have 2 friends that sell PartyLite - one in MO and one in IL. So if you're interested, let me know and I can get you their info. You can also go to www.partylite.com to find out more info!!
Good luck!!
After about 20 years of fundraising for kids the easiest is the trashbags you sell, everyone needs them, you get a pretty good profit, the big problem is storage and the amount you buy to start, the company is Frontier Bag Company in Grandview.
Someone told me once that the Hy-vee by their house would have a 'round-up day' where store patrons can round-up their purchase to include an amount for the school. Also a good easy fundraiser.
Social type fundraisers are fun, carnivals or chili suppers. For the young kids we had a Secret Santa gift buy, the kids would come in and have a person help them shop for gifts for their family then wrap them. We would combine this with pictures with Santa any person can take these anymore and usually someone will have a photo printer, there are several companies that you can search for online to have the products sent for the gift buy, then you send the left over's back to the company.
First of all, congrats on getting your fundraising started! Raising support for a worthy cause can be super rewarding.
One route you might want to consider is setting up a homepage for your group on a fundraising website.
Raising support online is much simpler and more tidy than raising funds via cash or check (most sites can link donations straight to your bank account through a merchant processor). And having a group page gives you a central place to post information, photos and let people know what you do - this helps you promote your cause to friends, family and whoever else you want.
There are plenty of sites these days that help groups meet their goals - here are some good options:
First Giving (www.firstgiving.com) is a solid one. They charge about 5% on donations raised and have a simple structure to set up your page (though you may have to be a certified non-profit to register with them).
If that's the case, another option is Empowered (www.empowered.org). They process about 3.5% on donations raised, offer lots of tools to help organize/fundraise, and I know they support all small groups, regardless of non-profit status.
And you could always try to send up your own PayPal account to link to you directly, but this is a little trickier and a bit inflexible.
Good luck getting your fundraising going, I hope this helps!
