Hi moms,
I just had an ob appointment, I am 27 weeks 1 day. I measured 32cm. The Dr. was concerned so she ordered a ultrasound, it is not till the 12th of April. Has this happened to anyone?? I am just feeling concerned. Everything was normal with my first pregnancy.

What can I do next?

I agree with Samantha H below. MANY women measure over their due dates and have healthy pregnancies and babies. It's very common!
Congratulations on your pregnancy! If you have not hired a doula already your should check out our site.

I wouldn't worry too much. Normal is considered within 3 cm of the # of weeks so you are a little outside of that. Could be anything from baby's position to dr's tape measure being a little off. The concern would extra fluid in which case they would probably do an ultrasound to make sure baby's body looked okay (which I am guessing it already looked fine at 20 weeks) and keeping a closer eye on things. Try not to let it scare you too much- if it was an emergency they would get you in right away.

For both of my pregnancies, I measured 4 weeks over my due date. Both my babies were slightly overdue and both were healthy! (although one was 9 1/2 lbs!) lol

Oh mama. Dont even worry one bit aout it. I measured right on throughout my 1st pregnancy and carried him 2 weeks past my due date. This one, ever since 5 months I have been measuring big. I am 28 weeks now, and am measuring 32 weeks as well. Its happened to my mom, and my sister. My sister they even changed her due date to earlier but the baby was not ready. so she waited. Turns out, she was just bigger this time. Your body is just used to stretching and so its doing what its supposed to. Good luck and take a deep breath.

Chances are either you have one big baby, are off on the due date, or are having twins. I'm sure everything will be fine.
