National Park Service Web Rangers - set up your ranger station, and fun activities and games related to the national parks, history, science, etc. - located at http://www.nps.gov/webrangers/
My situation is I am a stay at home mom (yeah!) while my husband goes to work during the day and goes to night school every evening of the week, with lots of homework on the weekends. So this leaves me with lots and lots of alone time with just me and my almost 3 yr old and 9 month old girls. I am looking for fun things to do and ways to teach my 3 yr old and fun things for me to do with both of them. Anyone have some great sites you use?

Staples for our 4 & 1 year old!!
Well a great site I recommend for you is the skinny scoop:
http://www.theskinnyscoop.com/learn?utm_campaign=theskinn...
I'm pretty sure that they also have a list of recommended sites that are good for children...check it out
For your younger child try Kneebouncers.com, for the older child try PBSkids.org. Also Fisher Price has a sight with learning games they are a bit basic but a good starting point for both kids to get used to the computer. Jump Start has a free trial, but it is geared more for 6 and up.
We do nickjr but will be checking out these other ones!!!
scholastic.com, starfall.com, betweenthelions.com, pbs.org, funbrain.com
pbskids.org
playhousedisney.com
and
nickjr.com
are the ones mine use.
I am in a similar situation, but I just have one child...I know it is not easy being alone all day and having everything on your shoulders (although we both love it!)....
I would suggest trying to get OUT of the house....get a double stroller and walk, walk, walk. Join a Mom's Club, try new activities in the area you live in, etc...you definitely need to find some outlets outside of your home and away from the computer....
I used to use though the Fisher Price website -they have a few cute games online that both of your girls can enjoy...
http://www.sesamestreet.org/games
http://www.procreo.jp/labo/flower_garden.swf --- not educational, really, but fun for a little while
http://www.eastmeadow.k12.ny.us/parkway/FunLinks.html - im not familiar with lots of these, check them out for yourself, its on my kids' schools website
OK, they are pure fun, but stardoll.com and cartoondollemporium.com are special rewards for my (now 10-year old) daughter. They are basically online paperdolls. Be aware, the costumes (you can dress fairies, mermaids, angels, rock stars, etc.) are not all modest. There are some fun games on Barbie.com too, if you don't mind supporting a specific brand.
I second Starfall my little ones always love it!
No Time For Flash Cards...great site if you love to do crafts. This site goes by theme, or age, or holiday-- whatever your needs. I love it!
