Fun Easter Ideas?

Hey moms I'm looking for a cute idea for celebrating Easter. It's my daughters first "real" easter (she was less than a year last year) we aren't christian so we're purely celebrating because it's fun the whole bunny, eggs, candy etc. I want to do an egg hunt with her but we're trying to start traditions that are fun that she'll pass down to her kids. I'm not soliciting comments about religion or lack thereof, just want some fun ideas!

What can I do next?

I saw a commercial for rice krispies where the mom and kids were making rice krispy eggs. http://www.ricekrispies.com/commercials/easter.aspx#/comm...
It looks so fun and cute that's what we're doing. And children are never too young for an egg hunt!

When I was a child we used the same Easter basket every year. We decorated the eggs, and then left them in the Easter basket for the Easter Bunny.
E.B. Hid the eggs, and then filled the basket with grass, a chocolate bunny, some foil wrapped chocolate eggs and maybe some inexpensive summer things like sidewalk chalk and bubbles, or a small piece of jewelry in an egg. I have kind of done the same thing for my daughter as I made her a beautiful basket with tulle (like a tutu) and ribbon and silk flowers. I haven't actually been brave enough to turn her loose with egg dye yet, maybe this year! (she is 7) Usually I decorate them after she goes to bed. Some times I use it as an excuse to get the latest Disney DVD if one was released after her birthday, or more than one was released between Christmas and Easter & she didn't receive it already for her April birthday. Have fun!

My family always made "Easter nests" for the bunny to lay gifts in. The nest usually consists of straw made into a donut shape and then any pretty flowers we could find to collect. My mom used to open up a trash bag and lay it down and after we went and searched for everything we wanted to decorate our best with we came home and arranged it. That was most the fun for us. My girls do it now and love it. We live in Louisiana though, so I guess some northerners couldnt really do this in April.

My daughter and I make Easter Egg candy. I started when she was a baby because a dear friend passed the tradition her mom did with her and her 5 sisters.

We've done it every year, it is time consuming but about a month before Easter, people start asking for our candy.
