Front Load Washer Leak

Does anybody have a Whirlpool front loader that drips from the area where the water enters the basin? Sometimes I find a puddle in the bottom of the basin. It stops when I turn off the water coming to the washer, so I don't know if I should call a plumber or the Whirlpool guy.

What can I do next?

I Have the SAME EXACT PROBLEM!!!!! We have a frigidaire, and this just started a few weeks ago. When we shut off the hot water it does not leak in the bottom of the basin. Let me know how this one works out!

Do you have a warranty on the product? If so, make sure you call only the number on your warranty information to repair it.

Emily,

That sounds like a Whirlpool problem, or possibly a hook-up problem. Either way, you want to call your Whirlpool repairman. Let me know what you learn.
