It's probably fine, unless you lay your whole life out on FB.
Gosh darn I dislike the weird situations created by FB.
Hi Moms,
So my question is, is it ok for me to friend my ex MIL on facebook? My ex and I have been divorced for about 5 yrs. We actually ended on good terms, and she was always very nice to me after the fact. So I was just wondering if any of you moms out there would or have friended their ex in laws?

I personally would not, everyone has moved on, as well as you, hopefully, so whats the point? Doesn't friending her make it seem a little like you still feel the need to be connected to the ex-family? If you still want to be nice, send her a Christmas card every year....
Hmm, I would not but that's just because I don't necessarily want her knowing ALL the details of my life or of some of my friends, who were friends with my ex as well.
I would say it's OK, but that's because I use FB for fun, not to vent or give people any dramatic details of my life! Are you remarried or in a relationship? NOT that you need 'permission' for anything you do, but mention it to your significant other so it's immediately out in the open so it won't seem like you are trying to have an inside scoop on your ex's life (not that it's your motive - but some might think that so I'm just playing the other side here).
I just accepted my former mother in law as a friend and just block her from things I don't want her to see.
