Hi. I had a baby 3 months ago the 16th of this month. I am having frequient urination for some reason. say every 1 & 1/2 to 2 hours. I am currently on my period and before i got it a few days ago i even took 3 tests and i am not pregnant. I am not breastfeeding. well, i do pump every once in a while to make sure my breast dont get swollen because my milk isnt drying up quickly. If it helps, i did have a emergency c-section. I had to take infection medicine about 2 weeks afterwards as well. i was just wondering if this was normal and what is wrong. thanks

What can I do next?

That doesn't seem too frequent to me. It could just be that you are losing the baby weight. If you are concerned you should see you regular dr. for a UTI test just to make sure there isn't a lingering infection from the delivery.

my first guess would be UTI. expecially if it burns or cramps when you pee. i had an emergency c-section followed by a small infection under my incision and the antibiotics gave me a yeast infection. are you drinking more water than normal? are you swollen? it could just be your body getting rid of the extra water weight from your little one. probably nothing to worry about though. congrats on your little one! :)

I did the same thing and there was nothing wrong. It just took my body longer to get rid of that extra pregnancy fluid. =)
You might want to watch the pumping, though. Your body will continue to produce milk if it thinks your baby needs it. Your doctor can give you a prescription to dry you up faster if it is too uncomfortable for you.
Enjoy your little blessing!

I agree with Megan and Jessica. The first thought that came to my mind was a UTI, especially if you have been sexually active recently. If it burns, cramps, or if you have a back ache along with the frequent urination , then I would definitely go to the doctor for a quick check. Any urgent care or "Doc in a box" can check you for a UTI.
Good luck and I hope you feel better! Congrats on the new baby!

You might try doing a bunch of Kegels. I found out after my VBAC that even pregnancies ending in a C-section can cause damage that weakens the support and muscles down below (I'm dealing with a prolapsed bladder, but it wouldn't even have to be that extreme). It would probably be a good idea to run it by your doc or midwife though.
