I wouldn't freeze jarred food. It's so much cheaper and better for baby to make your own that you can freeze. I would make at least a months worth in one day and freeze it.
How long will jarred baby food (after opening) keep in the freezer? I have trays for freezing breast milk and baby food. I don't feed her out of the jars but, she also won't eat an entire jar and won't eat the same thing the next day. I'm not trying to freeze the leftover 3 ounces for months. I just need them to keep for about a week and I know it's only 2-3 days tops in the fridge. Has anyone tried this?

It might be better for your to make it and freeze the fresh food with out the preservatives etc.. It takes 1-2 hrs a week if that, to make enought for a few weeks.. Much easier and healthier.
I just made tons of baby food last week (at least 2 months worth). I plan on keeping it in my freezer until it's eaten.

I never froze jar baby food, but would assume the same rules would apply as for homemade baby food. I would make several months at a time, in a deep freeze I would say 6 months would be fine. By that time, she'll probably not be eating purees anymore anyways so I doubt it'll go bad before she eats it. You might check with the brand's website, they may have freezing instructions.
