Not free, but www.discountschoolsupply.com sells everything you'd need for a daycare (other than possibly infant items) for REALLY good prices. I buy craft items from there quite often.

Congratulations on your new venture! Very exciting. You should so proud of yourself. I was going to suggest freecycle, too, but I see that others have already done so! You can usually find lots of stuff at your local Salvation Army and Goodwill store. Yard sale season will be here soon. My mothers of twins club has two tag sales every year--the quality and amount of discounted items is outstanding. In addition to looking in the 'free' section on Craigslist, there's also a 'wanted' section. On freecycle you can place requests for items, too. If you need to buy new, try to get wholesale accounts so you don't have to pay full retail.

Wishing you much success!!

Try freecycle. Its a Yahoo group and you can go on to ask for things you need or you can respond to people offering.

I would recommend checkingout freecycle. It's awesome for that stuff, and everything is free.

Have you tried looking under Free at craigslist.org? You'll be surprised what people are willing to give away. Good Luck with your new venture.

Dear G.,
One way to get award-winning educational toys for free is to host a Discovery Toys party. Invite your clients, friends, neighbors and let them shop. You receive a percentage of what they buy in FREE TOYS or BOOKS. Look at www.toysofdiscovery.com to learn more, and act quickly to get our extra January bonuses of a free $20 toy for a $200 party, plus $50 in freebies with a $500 party, both on top of our usual plan which gives ~ 16% in free toys. The extra bonuses will not be available in February. I'd be happy to help you earn your "freebies" as a Discovery Toys consultant, too, where you can also earn money. Just visit me online.
