(Bridesmaids was hilarious too but more crude humor)
The Help
We haven't seen a movie in forever. Any suggestions? I don't like lots of profanity or science fiction. The kids will be in bed so it doesn't have to be G-rated. If you suggest a movie, I appreciate it, but don't please don't ruin the ending for me! :)
We haven't seen the Adjustment Bureau yet...is it good?
Thanks a ton!!!
ETA: horror films are out of the question...I get terrified for weeks!

LOVE AND OTHER DRUGS!
We just watched this the other night.. It is now on the TOP of my FAVORITES LIST.
Anne Hathaway and Jake Gyllen(I think he was in Brokeback mountain)......The guy that has s sister that is an actress...He is HOT in this movie.
There is alot of nudie scenes I am not going to lie. But the point behind the movie will make you smile and cry at the same time!!!The brother in it is just freaking hilariously dirty but you laugh everytime:)
I LOVE PAUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HILARIOUSLY GOOD
If you want a good laugh, Horrible Bosses is funny.
Havnt seen that one yet buy we just rented Paul and I loved it! Its kinda crude sometimes but funny!!
Just saw Crazy, Stupid Love. Really good.
I loved Bridesmaids, but it does contain profanity and opens with a sex scene that's fairly descriptive. Crazy Stupid Love is on the top of my list because it is highly recommended by the owner of the video store we go to.
Bridesmaids! Totally funny!
The Adjustment Bureau was quite good. If Crazy Stupid Love is out on dvd, it was amazing. Midnight in Paris was terrific -- one of Woody Allen's best ever. (It was about romance and art....just lovely.)
Paul and Bridesmaids were both very funny, but lots of profanity.
I second The Adjustment Bureau and Crazy Stupid Love!
The movies I am recommending are a little old, but in my opinion are very good:
"One fine day" with Michelle Pfeifer and George Clooney;
"The mirror has two faces" with Barbara Streisand and Jeff Bridges.
"The Holiday" with Jude Law, Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet. Loved it!!
Music and Lyrics with Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore
Enjoy!
I know you said "no" scifi...but "Super 8" which releases next week was great fun.
Bridesmaids or Due Date....both hilarious and something you and husband will BOTH enjoy!
Limitless (Bradley Cooper) was a great movie...if you are looking for comedy Bridesmaids was hilarious. Bad Teacher was pretty good too.
adjustment bureau was really good, paul was hilarious, its about an alien but its not really sci-fi as much as comedy.
