It's 102 degrees!!!! It melts. :-) I just tried Maybelline dream Liquid mousse and it seems pretty good at staying on for me. I think L'Oreal works well too.
I need suggestions on an inexpensive foundation that you can buy at Walmart or Target that stays on. I am really having problems lately. I am blotting all day long.

like the Nutrogena (sp?) foundations... I used clear-skin when I was younger and more prone to breakouts, now I like the 'healthy skin'.
One thing that helps me with sweaty face is to use baby powder (cornstarch based, not talc...) and brush it on my face with a big brush. It REALLY helps absorb the moisture from oil or sweat, without making my face look too powdered. It's also great to brush on my chest and neck on really humid days. :)
Revlon Colorstay is good, but thick. You want to use the lightest possible thing, maybe a tinted moisturizer. Loreal True Match is a good product mixed with a bit of moisurizer so it's not too thick. It's hot and humid so maybe get some oil blotting paper.
Try using a mineral powder foundation, like Bare Minerals. I use a cheaper brand by Maybeline. It's called Mineral Power and I find it in all of the stores. It's works great! Good luck!

Hello! Welcome to mamapedia!!
Your blotting because it's summer. I'm sorry - it's HOT outside. I can't think of ANY foundation that's going to stay on in this heat.
I use Mary Kay Mousse foundation. However, right now? I'm not using anything but a sunscreen moisturizer. I can't think of anything at Target or Wal-mart that will work in the summer heat and humidity.
I love Aveeno tinted moisturizers.
I find that putting a little pressed powder over your fondation helps it stay on.
I use Revlon Colorstay. It stays on pretty well, I have oily skin... I've been happy with this for the last 5 years.
Do you actually need foundation?
Or use a translucent face powder instead.
Or use make up blotting tissues.
I used to use Lancôme but have switched to almay smart shade and like it just as well and much cheaper. It also has SPF 15.
Try a tinted moisturizer vs a foundation - Aveeno does well, but it is hot and it will blot, but it is lighter and will blot out/blend better.
I use a Maybelline foundation only when my skin absolutely needs it but it does come off in the heat. However, I find a translucent powder works well.
I like L'Oreal's loose powder foundation. Has spf too!
