Ever since my friends told me you have to read the fortune and add "in bed" at the end I can't read them anymore. The giggles take over.

I make fortune cookies all the time. I have found that if the message gets too long, it's more difficult to get the paper to stay inside the cookie. Often times, my cookies harden before they are folded if I have to mess too much with the fortune inside. At Valentine's day I do a lot of the phrases you see on conversation hearts... "I love you" , "XOXOXO", "Cutie pie", "Ur Gr8". I use different fonts and colors. If I make them for my son this year and decide I want to fuss with the longer paper, I will probably google Valentine jokes and add those.
