This is strange, but about 6 months after I had my daughter I started getting this horrible foot pain when I would first put weight on them in the mornings. It feels like every bone in them is broken until after I walk around for a minute, then it goes away. But now it happens even after I've just been sitting for a few minutes. Has anyone else experienced this after pregnancy? Or am I just getting old?
Mine actually started before my pregnancy. It is called plantar something or other. I had physicall therapy and some home exercises to do and it went away for about 5-6 years. The last couple of weeks I have noticed it again. For me, it seems to come when I gain weight.
you know i have the exact same thing happening to me and i still have not been able to figure out what it is i was thinking my arches are falling and have been thinking about gettin arch supports for when i do have shoes on to see if that helps any but evryone has thought i am imagining things so its nice to know i'm not the only one...i'll keep you updated if i figure it out or find a solution..
I have that and I don't remember when it started. It may have been after having my son. It is plantar fascitis (spelling). My dr told me to wear crocs and it has helped a lot. I also take flax seed and calcium/magnesium supplements. These all seem to help. My next option would be to go to a podiatrist but I have been able to manage it now with the shoes and supplements. You may want to get your thyroid checked. It is common (plantar) with thyroid conditions. Good luck.
