have her soak her feet in cool tea for a week the tanic acid will get rid of the odor!!! So says Dr. Oz
I have a very nice and precious friend. She means the world to me; she is like a sister to me. The problem is she has
this very bad foot odor and she shares her problem with me and I do not know how to help her. Her foot attire has even
changed; she has stopped wearing closed-up shoes, or close up sandals. She wears open footwear so that she can
at least dimish some of her foot odor problem by wearing open shoes or sandals. It has been a problem with her and
she has tried many kinds of foot powder, or what have you, yet she has not foound an answer. Please help? Thanks
much and it is our hope that we will find an answer to this problem.

Hello,
I remember watching a show, I believe it was with Dr. Oz, and he stated that you can soak your feet in Iced Tea and it would get rid of the smell. Tell here to get some tea bags and put in in a bucket of water and place her feet in it for a while. I don't remember how long exactly they should soak becasue I saw the show about a year ago, but I thought it was interesting.
Good luck and I hope it helps!
Dr. Oz says to soak your feet in tea...
Also she can spray deodorant on her feet each morning.
We have always combated foot odor (chronic) with powdered Boric Acid, found in the first aid section of a major chain, or drug store. About a tablespoon sprinkled into closed shoes, and then wear clean socks, go about your day, and at the end of the day, wash shoes and socks, and dry thoroughly...Shower well, of course.
The next time you wear enclosed shoes, reapply boric acid, only once, and then leave it in your shoes....
It is not painful, or even uncomfortable. And for whatever reason, it has systemically solved the problem for my brother. For good.
check out www.footsmart.com they have a lot of stuff for different issues, including foot odor.
The simpliest thing that works really well is any men's roll-on deodorant (I use Rexona). Hope it will help 8-)
Tell her to try putting deodorant on her feet. Just rub it across the back of her toes and down the bottom of her foot. If it keeps your underarms fresh and from sweating, why not your feet?! I've tried it and it works. I do not like for my feet to sweat because they will smell.
soaking the feet in dark tea...lipton is fine...regularly can sometimes reduce the odor dramatically.
Someone once told me that foot odor is a vitamin A deficiency. Maybe a supplement?
There is a wonderful product that has peppermint and tea tree oil in it that is great for stinky feet, Sensaria Natural Bodycare's Sole Essential (Refresh the Sole for scrubbing, and Sole Revival for moisturizing). www.sensaria.com/J.
I personally would never be spraying or applying anything to my feet that masked the odor because it is telling you there is a problem, like someone said along the lines of vitamin deficiency. Maybe a holistic doctor or going to a reputable health food store (Henry's, Whole Foods, Sprouts - love this one!) and asking them what they would suggest. They have books there that they can look it up.
My mom used to say, "Zinc cuz ya stink."
It always seemed to work.
