My 8 and a half month old baby girl isn't the biggest fan of baby food, but she really likes toast, soft cheese and the starter bites from Gerber. I need some ides of what else to give her that won't choke her since she still has no teeth. She is good at using her hands though, but bananas are a little slippery. Any good ideas??? Thanks!

What can I do next?

My daughter loved macaroni at that age! I would cook it in chicken brothe, then add some peas, carrots, very cooked brocoli, zuchini etc. to it. She thought it was great.

Have you tried blending up various vegetables like sweet potatos, carrots, squash? Our 9 month old loves that. We mix it up with other things as well- soft noodles and such. Also, boil up blue berries, strawberries, apples pears- any other fruit, make it soft, and use the hand blender. We mix up her fruits- she loves it.
