It sounds like it was not cooked properly to begin with. I would complain to the restaurant and perhaps they will give her her money back.
Spending Thanksgiving with our daughter . She made a ham and bought a deep fried turkey from one of the restaurants. They picked the turkey up last night at 7 from the restaurant and kept it in the fridge. Heating instructions came with it. Today she heated it like she was supposed to. There was a note that the joints may be pink. When we went to cut it the joints didn't want to seperate and when I pressed on near the joint blood ran out. We cut the while meat and put the dark half back in the oven. Now I'm not sure it would be safe to eat if it wasn't cooked completely and then put in the fridge, taken out and warmed and put back in the oven. Can I ask what you think? The rest of her dinner was woderful.Thanks.
My daughter called the restaurant where she bought the turkey and they are going to refund what she paid for the turkey. We didn't eat it and plan on throwing it away.

B.:
There is a difference between pink and blood running. It doesn't sound like the turkey was properly cooked.
Heating it up to re-cook it - should be fine. Storing it and re-heating should be fine if you do it in portions of what you need - not all at once. So store sections of it in ziploc bags, freeze what you do not need to or this week and take out and re-heat what you need when you need it.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!
i would not eat it. it's nothing worse than getting a food bourne illness. it is the worst part of being sick. i would just be satisfied with what i already ate. i'm real funny about meats because i did work in the dietary department of a hospital and i know that if the food is not properly cooked and than not properly heated to a degree of at least 165 than it is a more likely chance of getting sick.
