Fluoride? Other Products That Can Strengthen Teeth?

My son recently saw the dentist and was told he has several cavities (he is 2 years old). I know this is from his love of juice (which has been BANNED in my home now!). I am wondering if there are any other products besides fluoride to help strengthen his teeth and keep the cavities from progressing. I have heard of ozone therapy, paint on fluoride, etc. Would love to get some info on alternatives to the "drill and fill" method.

FYI: his cavities are very small and in the beginning stages.

thanks!

Are the cavities in his molars? Are they going to seal his teeth? My youngest got cavities (as did I went I was young) because some peoples teeth do not seal properly when they are formed, leaving holes that food gets down into and can not be gotten out. Once the teeth are sealed it fixes the cause of the problem. We had my sons done last year and have had no further issues with his teeth.

Please be careful with flouride on teeth in a child so young. It can discolor not only his baby teeth but also his adult ones. Flouride is a drug so please read all you can find, good and bad, before you go that route.

Fluoride daily in small doses is the best way to strengthen teeth. Do you have well water, or city water? Often, city water is fluoridated. If it isn't, you can get fluoride tablets from your pediatrician or dentist. Sealing teeth is only helpful in preventing decay. If the decay is superficial, you can strengthen the enamel.
