Try diazinon. My husband uses a spray on application on our lawn for fleas and ticks. You have to keep your pets out of the yard until it dries. It can be bought at any home store like Lowes.
Even though I use FrontLine Plus each month and spray my yard, all of my animlas (3 cats and a dog) are once again flea ridden. I have an unfenced back yard that open up into an IL Nature Preserve and a small woods beyond that, so I try to be careful, but these infestations are getting costly. Any suggestions?

Here is an awesome, and cheap way to get rid of fleas: IVORY DISHWASHING LIQUID!!! I am very much involved with animals, and I know how costly fleas can be. This little trick will keep you and your animals very happy. You bathe the animals with the dishwashing liquid, and watch those nasty pests(fleas) die. You just use a small amount, and rinse well. You can also dilute a small amount of IVORY with water, in a spray bottle, to go around the basebaords of your house. I tell evryone I know, this little trick, and now, it is my pleasure to share it with you, and anyone else that has this problem. It truly works! Good Luck.
Hi,
My two indoor cats somehow got flees really bad. I could see the little bugers jumping around in the house. The first thing I did was called Orkin, they sprayed the inside of my house, and the cats got three months of flee treatment similar to what you are using. The best defense after that is constant vaccuming. I haven't had any problems since (over a year ago).
