Flannelboard Stories

Twenty years ago, I belonged to a bookclub where each month I received:
a folder with a preprinted story on the inside and colorful flannel pieces to use in telling the story. They even sent a plastic box to store all the stories in. Does anyone know if this company still exists? I teach kindergarten and would love to have this again.

What can I do next?

when I worked at La Petite we always made our own...we would go and buy some kind of "milk filters" they are circles and they are white so you can color them ( with crayons) we would just trace whatever we wanted, you can use books or coloring books for patterns. We got them at Farm and Fleet but I would think any store that sold farm equipment would carry them. I would cut them out while the kids had nap time = )
Good luck to you!

I am pretty picky about how my flannel story pieces look...I like these.

There are a few others on Etsy I like and one I buy from at local conferences (can't remember the name..I will look and see if I have their card). I have bought many on Ebay as well...with the stories and songs and such inside the large baggie. When I find others that would work, I print them out and cover with contact paper or laminate (contact paper is cheaper) and add to the baggie and put in my new filing system under the likely theme (bees, butterfly's, ducks, holiday, etc)...I use my flannel board every single day, and have several small ones for preschool age kids to play with on their own with random pieces (I keep my stories together).

Now I want to shop at this gals store! We love "Go away Big green Monster!"...only $6!!!

Might not be the same thing, but StoryTime Felts has something similar. It is a direct sales company, you will need to find a consultant. I haven't gotten with one in years, but you can probably google story time felts.
