T.B.
I am motivated by others sharing their commitment to and success from their own workouts. I think, "If she can do it, then I can!"
What motivates busy moms to workout: yourself, with a partner, trainer, or group exercise?

www.sparkpeople.com is a free site you can use with alot of message boards you can join for motivation.
I also have Tony Horton's P90X cd's...he is very motivational but it is a very tough workout.
Other than that when I look in the mirror and realize I need to change this body of mine...I always feel much better when I am exercising...even if it is just walking.
Good luck.
I get motivated because I refuse to sit back and get out of shape.
I take pride in my body and maintaining it so I make time for me a priority.
I LOVE long brisk walks. I've been known to walk several miles on a beautiful day.
Group exercise. I joined a running team and I've never been a runner but I feel so motivated when we get together every saturday and workout. Our team leader gives us each a fitness plan to follow during the week. Knowing I'm going to want to improve each time I meet with the group keeps me motivated to workout on my own during the week.
I buy a punchcard for the YMCA and take classes two nights a week while hubby watches kids. I have a couple friends that usually go. I am motivated bc (besides wanting to get in shape) 1. I paid for it 2. it's fun to get out and away from kids! Once or twice a week in the morning I do a running exchange with my friend (and we take turns watching the kids). We both enjoy this and do it every week. If I am not motivated sometimes, she still will call to make sure our run exchange is on and then I just go and do it! (Motivation bc someone else counts on me).
