Fisher Price Geotrax - High Flyin' Airport with Bridge

I have over $200 invested in GeoTrax...three different very large sets. Unfortunately, one of those sets is the airport.

My children love to play with the other two... combined, the two sets take up most of our living room. I love this train set...the TRAINS, that is. :)

I thought the airport would be so cool...WRONG!!! My children could care less...all the plane does is fly around a little loop. You can't make it go forward or backward like the trains, and it doesn't really "do" anything.

I guess if you already had the train set and she was offering to sell it for 5 bucks, I'd say go for it...but it takes up a lot of space, without the train would be no fun...and $40, used?? I mean, she paid $60 brand new (or less if she got in on sale for Christmas)...seems WAY too high.

I like to check the reviews on amazon when I need an opinion on a product. It looks like a lot of people agree with Christy Lee. It seems like there were a lot of reviews that said "Boring". And complaints that it was difficult to put together.

I vote for boring. Don't waste your money.

My kids liked it for about 30 minutes. After that, it never came out again. It's hard for little hands to put together properly, and the train/plane/cars come off easily...and they just go around and around.

Put your $40 to use elsewhere.

If this is the plane that goes around with a remote I think I would get a train for the Geotrax set instead. I got it for our grandsons and they did ( do ) play with it but all it does it go around and around and around. The younger ones fight over who does the remote so usually it's put away. Maybe this is not what you're talking about but if it is I'd get something else.
