Hi, Everyone

I have a questions for you. I am pregnant with my second child and i am pulling everything out of storage and there are few items that needs to be cleaned I need to know what can I use to clean these items off

The items are swings(2) high and low one. One of those little seats that rocks the baby in and highchair, pack and play and possibly baby bath and infant car which I dont know if i can take cover off and a stroller.

And Ideas will help.

Thank u

I use baking soda and vinegar to clean just about everything. I've found it works MUCH better than commercial cleaners, it's super cheap and you can eat it. Also, keep in mind that while things need to be clean they don't need to be sterile enough to do surgery with/on.

You should be able to take the covers off of everything you mentioned. Throw them all in the wash together. I usually wash all that type of stuff on hot in the gentle cycle. I just use my regular detergent. If I can, I line dry, if not just put them in the dryer.
To clean all the plastic, I use Clorox Anywhere Hard Surface cleaner. It disinfects, but doesn't have that really strong gross bleach smell. They use it in all the schools around here, so if it's good enough for them,it's good enough for me! :D

What can be put in the wash machine should go in on low and line dried. Use a baby and earth friendly detergent and do a second rinse.

Everything else should just get wiped down with a non-toxic cleaner (I hate bleach...gives me a headache and it sucks for the environment). You can buy non-toxic cleaners everywhere now including Target or make your own, here is an awesome link:

I always used a cap full of bleach and in a full wash machine and then did another load with nothing added to make sure it was all out and the thing I was washing. I also used Clorox Clean -Up to clean the high chair as long as it was totally rinsed off and dry when the baby used it. This didn't bother my girls at all. But I do recommend that u don't use it on anything the may put in it's mouth and or wares.

you can usually wash the car seat cover in the washing machine. and use soap and water to clean the other items if you want to disinfect them put a cap full of bleach in the water. then just to make sure the bleach doesn't irrate the new baby wash it down with olain soap and water again. oh and use a damp clothe to spot clean the stroller pads if it can't be taken off and thrown in the washing machine
