Montco is pretty big, so not sure where you are. There is a Knights of Columbus hall in Glenside which was recently remodeled and is very nice. We had a luncheon there in November for my father-in-law's funeral. For those sorts of things, you don't have much time to plan, but everyone at the Knights was great to us. They discount the rental fee for K of C members. A great caterer in the area is Sam Rizzo, and he's very familiar with the K of C Hall in Glenside. Rizzo's goes all over, so you might consider them whichever location you go to.

Try the firehouses. Daytime prices are usually good. There is Conshohocken, Spring Mill and King of Prussia.

I dont know where in Montgomery County you are, but i see alot of people rent out the community center or boys and girl clubs, you have to get to them early though before someone else does and they are very cheap.

Where are you in Montgomery County. I am in Bucks by Willow Grove, there are some places here but it may be too far.
