Seriously, what kind of house of horrors did we move into? First we found several black widows and now we have found three scorpions IN THE HOUSE! Arrrrghhh!

Anybody know a good way to get rid of scorpions?

What can I do next?

After you get an exterminator, caulk everthing!

If you are the owner, call a professional. You really don't want to mess around with these. If you are a renter, call the owner/leasing company and demand that it be taken care of immediately.

I'm getting the creeps just thinking about it. Bleh.

Shudder. Ick. Whenever I lament living where it gets cold, I remind myself that I could never handle the critters that come with a warmer climate.

I would call in an exterminator.

Ick! I think I'd call an exterminator, for sure!!! There's some way that they are getting in. They're a lot bigger than spiders, yes? So find where they are getting in and plug the holes! Steel wool around pipes coming in from the walls, like under cabinets, is good. (It prevents rats and mice from coming in.) The exterminator can coat the perimeter of your house and underneath the house if you are on a crawl space. (That has to be one of THE worst jobs, crawling under a house into acrawl space!)

Good luck!!!

We had this problem. Caulk up every single crack and hole you can find outside and inside your house. That is what we did and have not had scorpions since. It takes a TON of time and caulk.

Just squash 'em. I have lived in places where I've discovered very venemous snakes under the telephone table and in the bedroom, as well as the deadliest spiders in the world hiding in my pile of laundry, or lurking at the bottom of the pool. Remember to always check your shoes before you put your feet in!
