I agree with the last requests. I've done spaghetti / garlic bread / salad before which is a big hit. However, I found it was a lot messier if you had little kids. I don't know about you, but toddlers and spaghetti on my carpet? Not my favorite! It is yummy and easy though. I've also done the taco bar before. That was the easiest one to keep hot until people were ready to eat. I had queso, guacamole, hot sauce, chips, tortillas / taco shells, taco meat, refried beans, and taco toppings. We just did this for my husband's family. It was a big hit and it cost me about $30 I believe (the meat was the most expensive part). I had the toppings prepared ahead of time, the queso and refried beans in small crock pots, taco meat in a large crock pot. Once everyone arrived, all I had to do was heat the taco shells and tortillas.
