You can also buy diaper doublers, which looks like a huge maxi pad - it just sits inside the diaper - worked for us!
Hi,
My 7 month old has recently started to roll over in his sleep. The problem is his diaper then leaks and wakes him up and we have to change all his pj's which really wakes him up! Has anyone any suggestions that might help? Thanks.
Thank you all for your help! We tried the huggies overnights in one size up last night and no leaking! Yey !
So a big thanks for all the speedy and helpful tips :)

Huggies OVERNIGHT by a LONG RUN!!!!
I can't even begin to tell you how great these are! My daughter was wet in the morning with her regular Huggies & Pampers diapers. I had to start getting up in the middle of the night to change them .... Then I discovered Huggies Overnights and they truly are wonderful! They are pricey, BUT you only use one a night and they have NEVER ever leaked!
I have also used these on the kids when we are taking a long car drive in case we don't get a chance to stop in time to change their diapers.
These are great diapers. They hold a lot of fluids and rarely leak. Note to first time buyers: These diapers are thicker than the regular diapers and are a little slimmer in the waist. So, you should probably go up a size larger than the regular diapers.
We are on the Subscribe & Save Program w/Amazon for these diapers. Saves you a little extra $$ AND they come straight to your door. Can't beat it!
when this happened with my son, i just bought a size up and that fixed the problem.
We tried several things and the best thing was Huggies Overnights - never had a night time leak once we started using them (and I haev boy/girl twins and it worked for both of them).
For awhile, we had to use two diapers. We put a Huggies Goodnight diaper on him and then put a pull up overtop. Expensive yes, but it saved us from having him up every night! When his overnight diapers weren't so wet every night, we stopped and he's been fine since. It was a stage. :-)
I used Huggies Overnight with both my kids. My kids just pee a lot, apparently! They are expensive but if you're just using them at night it works out. Also, I usually use the size up for the overnight as well...it depends. I think I may have started my son out on the ones that were his size but they were getting pretty full too so I went the size up.
I used diaper doublers. They can be hard to find, so I also used serenity pads and the like. They worked fine and no more leaks.
I had the same problem. I started using Huggies Overnights... Porblem solved
Costco diapers worked the best.
Also, I went up a size for nighttime and that helped, too.
Also, change diaper at the very last second before bedtime. That helped, too.
Huggies Overnights :)
Test them out. Everyone so far has said Huggies Overnights. I tried them for 2 weeks and my daughter leaked at least 10 times in those 2 weeks. I gave up. I use Pampers Extra Protection and they work great. I do go up a size in the diaper though adn that helps a lot too.
we always double diapered with the top diaper being very high in the front.
You may need to go up a size. My babies were both skinny so they fit in the same size diaper for a long time but eventually the diapers couldn't keep up with the higher output of pee as my kids appetites grew.
I've always had the best results with Pampers Baby Dry - not Cruisers.
YOu can get them really cheap off Amazon.com if you sign up for the moms club and the subscribe & save program - I pay $28 for a box of 204 size 3 including tax etc.
