My baby is 11 mos old and she has been running fever for a few days now. She has been teething so i thought that was it but now her breath has a strange odor to it. She is also having alot of trouble sleeping. She seems content while awake and smiles and plays but as soon as she starts to fall asleep she starts crying. She will even be asleep and just starts crying and thrashing around. Its like she is just very uncomfortable but wants to go to sleep. She also started just wanting to be held all the time today.

What can I do next?

We're on the last few doses of antibiotic for my daughter, 6. She came home with strep throat a week ago, Friday. I remember now, leading up to that that her breath smelled FOUL, even after she brushed her teeth. I'm talking like something died in her mouth, foul.

Ear infection? Sometimes it is when a baby lays down that they hurt most with ears and noses.

I urge you to call the advice nurse at the pediatrician's office or the hospital. They will want to know her temperature.

It's time for the doc. When they can't sleep, it's bad enough for a visit. When they want to be held all the time, you have waited too long.

When my son had really bad breath with a fever that usually meant tonsillitis. Not as scary as it sounds, but he always needed antibiotics for it.

She needs to go the dr. She has an infection somewhere teething can lead to ear infection and it's the time of year for strep.
